This beautiful yet masculine scent opens with fresh top notes of mint, pear, bergamot and lavender. Spicy heart notes of cinnamon, clary sage and cumin join the fruity top notes before making way for rich base notes of amber, black vanilla and various woods. The contrasting sweetness of fruit and warmth of spice complement each other in this unique and intriguing blend.
Jean Paul Gaultier is a French fashion designer whose perfume house released its first fragrance in 1993 and has created an extensive number of perfumes since. Without any formal training, he worked his way into the industry by sending sketches of his designs to famous stylists. He was hired as an assistant at age 18 in 1970 and presented his first collection six years later. The fragrance comes in a matte blue and glossy black striped bottle in the shape of a man’s torso.
